EMACS … the “everything” tool

I  have always seen software performing some specific function ..but had never came across a tool that performs all functions …. until i came across emacs …. the wonder , i must say… i had one wish from quite a long time … to browse internet on the terminal … this was fulfilled when i came across the w3m facility in emacs … i had a big smile on my face wen i saw the google page on emacs .. what more can u expect from an editor !!!
